Bluesdad is a singer-songwriter immersed in Americana music--blues, country, folk, and gospel. Dad grew up in Durand, MI—a small country town known for its trains, but then served as a schoolteacher in the city of Detroit for 25 years. His musical start as Bluesdad landed him in the city playing for the homeless on one occasion and raising money for a local children’s home on another. If you see him playin’ on your side of town, get ready for some down-home, toe-tappin’, acoustic blues!
